Amity English School Dubai, a leading British-curriculum school located in Al Qusais, is urgently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Counsellor to join our student welfare team immediately.
We are looking for a compassionate professional who is committed to supporting the emotional, social, and academic well-being of students from Foundation Stage to Year 13.
Job Role: School Counsellor (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one and group counselling sessions for students
- Identify and support students with emotional, behavioural, or learning difficulties
- Work closely with parents, teachers, and SEN department for holistic student care
- Organise mental health workshops and awareness programs
- Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality and UAE child protection policies
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate counselling records
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical / Counselling / Educational) from a recognized university
- At least 2 years of counselling experience, preferably in a school setting within the UAE
- In-depth knowledge of UAE counselling laws, KHDA regulations, and international ethical guidelines
- Valid counselling license or safeguarding certificate (preferred)
- Terminal degree MUST be attested and equalized by the UAE Ministry of Education
